Description

Overview Warp spacer New Kingdom, Ramesside ca. 1295–1070 B.C. Not on view One side of this wooden object has slits at regular intervals. This allows to identify the tool as a warp spacer, which was part of a vertical loom. It used to evenly spread the warps when weaving linen textiles.
