Overview Vase George E. Ohr American Manufacturer Biloxi Art Pottery 1890–1905 On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 774 This vase is characteristic of George Ohr's work because of its thinly-potted construction and elaborate handles. It is decorated with a red-grey mottled glaze which was applied by dipping the object into different glazes. This object is an example of art pottery that is primarily sculptural in its decoration.
