Description
Overview Vase Ott and Brewer American 1880–90 On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 774 This vase is made of an especially thin type of porcelain, developed in Belleek, Ireland, and copied by Ott & Brewer a major New Jersey firm. The pinched body relates to Japanese forms; the naturalistic flower and branch motifs show the influence of the Rococo style.
