From the Great Hall, take the escalator to Floor 2. Walk through gallery 200 to reach gallery 641 in the European Paintings section. Then return to Floor 1 by taking the stairs or elevator down. Walk through galleries 300 and 304 in Medieval Art, then continue through gallery 541 in European Paintings, and galleries 540, 539, and 538 in European Sculpture and Decorative Arts to reach gallery 537.
